This is a wonderful antique ornate French boudoir box. These are highly sought after and intrigue the imagination of what fun things may have been stored in them. There is a triangle stamp on the back and through my research I could not identify the maker. Large lightweight wooden box measures 13" x 9 1/2" x 3". This is a footed box and only two of the felt buttons are left on the bottom. Fantastic condition for its age.
